#1 Red Sauce and Meat and Mushroom
This is one of my favorite ways to make pasta. Good noodle shapes for this one include farfalle, also known as bow tie pasta, cavatappi, and penne. Traditionally, spaghetti would be associated with this style of pasta, but I tend not to like it. Additionally, the nature of spaghetti means that at the time of bite you often have to pick and choose between meat and noodle.
Tip: It is important to cook ground beef on high heat to maximize umami.
#2 Chicken Alfredo
This is one of my favorite ways to make pasta. Good noodle shapes for this one include farfalle, also known as bow tie pasta, cavatappi, and penne. This is a great choice for picky eaters or normal eaters.
Tip: Use chicken thigh over chicken breast to maximize umami.
#3 Lemon and Shrimp and Parsley and Olive Oil
What a delicious way to make pasta. These flavors just blend together in a very satisfying way. Finely chopped parsley and shrimp are a duo for the ages. This is a really important way to make pasta for me. It was the final product of years of iteration between me and my mother in the kitchen. Be sure to enjoy!
Tip: Pat shrimp dry with a paper towel and coat in flour and lemon pepper seasoning before sauteeing. This gives the shrimp a subtle umami-filled texture that delights the palate.
